The humbled Broncos don’t waste any time in Tennessee. The defense comes out firing on all cylinders, proving why they won the Super Bowl just a year ago, and punishes Marcus Mariota all day long, until Mariota finally has to leave the game in the 3rd quarter with a concussion. The same plays true with Mettenberger, as he is tossed to the ground six times in a quarter and a half, and Mark Sanchez, who is feeling the pressure of a rookie first round pick sitting behind him, finally delivers a performance worthy of a starting quarterback. Sanchez throws for 3 TD’s and no INT’s and the Broncos roll 35-6 and secure themselves a 6th straight season at .500 or better.
