Thoughts as the draft approaches & final first round mock pick

This year’s NFL Draft is going to be so much fun because of the Broncos’ quarterback situation. With Peyton Manning and Bart Osweiler retiring/leaving, the QB position is largely unresolved. Obviously, the Broncos acquired Mark Sanchez early on in the process, but nobody really ever saw him as the final option.

As of right now, I think Michigan State’s Connor Cook will be the Broncos’ first round pick, and also the solution to the void left at quarterback. If the Broncos are sold on Mark Sanchez starting some games, put your money where your mouth is. Draft the future, keep the QB position cost-effective, and get ready to usher in the Connor Cook era sooner rather than later.

It’s going to be an exciting night, Broncos fans. Keep it here for all the coverage.
