With the Denver Broncos losing Malik Jackson to free agency this season, they are looking for a player that could fit well into the Orange Crush defense. I believe that A’Shawn Robinson could be the guy for the job.

A 6’4”, 307 pound defensive tackle, Robinson has been taught under Nick Saban, who has a habit of doing well with defensive linemen. He is also very versatile and can play both outside and inside, which the Broncos are always looking for those types of players.

He is a solid run stopper and a sure tackler. Not to mention he can do some damage when it comes to getting to the quarterback and shedding blocks.

The only issue that could present a problem is his inability to defend against the double team blocking. However, I feel like that would be something that can be worked on. Not to mention Bill Kollar and Wade Phillips would be excited to be able to teach Robinson and make him a huge force in the defense.

Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay had the Broncos selecting Robinson in their mock draft a few days ago, so he could be within reach for the team if they cannot get to Paxton Lynch or Robert Nkemdiche. But a solid option at the defensive line position for sure.
