With options in the opening round of the draft, I take a look at a few prospects that would fit for the Denver Broncos that they could select in the first round.

We are getting closer to the draft. Only a couple days away until we hear “The Los Angeles Rams are on the clock.”

The first day of the NFL Draft gives teams a chance to see what prospects could become the face of the franchise. There have been a handful of successful players, but also a handful of prospects that never panned out or failed to meet expectations.

The Denver Broncos have been pretty successful in their first round picks in the last five years. The only player that was drafted by the Broncos that is no longer with the team is quarterback Tim Tebow.

Demaryius Thomas, Von Miller, Sylvester Williams, Bradley Roby, and Shane Ray lead the first round class of the last five years. Not a bad group of first rounder’s here.

In this year’s draft, the Denver Broncos have so many options and analysis have the Broncos picking a variety of players in their mock drafts. I have seen quarterback, tight end, offensive line, and defense in these mock draft.

We will not know for sure until Thursday evening when Rodger Goddell goes up to the podium for the final time, but I decided to take a look at five first round prospects that would be a great fit for the Denver Broncos. Let’s take a look at those prospects.
