Linebacker

The Denver Broncos linebacker corps did pretty well in 2015. Von Miller, Demarcus Ware, Shane Ray, and Shaquil Barrett were dominate as edge rushers. Brandon Marshall and Danny Trevathan were solid as the middle linebackers.

With Trevathan gone and Marshall yet to sign his RFA tender, the Broncos are in the market for inside linebackers. One player that could be a good fit is B.J. Goodson, who the team has actually met with.

As for the edge rushers, the Broncos defense is always in the market for them. That could be especially true with Demarcus Ware in the final year of his contract. It remains to be seen if he will retire after the 2016 season, but the team would want to be prepared.

I think the combination of Shane Ray, Shaquil Barrett, and Von Miller are going to be the future of the Broncos linebacker corps. But perhaps having that fourth edge rusher would not be a bad idea to make the defense competitive for years to come.
