Running Backs

Devontae Booker- University of Utah

Devon Johnson- Marshall University

Daniel Lasco- University of California

The Denver Broncos have brought back C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman back from their Super Bowl team. The Broncos matched Anderson’s offer sheet from the Dolphins and they recently brought back Hillman after he tested free agency for about a month.

With Juwan Thompson and Kapri Bibbs waiting in the wings, it appears as if running back will not be a huge need in the draft, but it would not hurt to bring in some competition.

The biggest name at this position for the Broncos is Booker from Utah. The team appears to like him and brought him in for a private visit.

According to NFL.com, he does not have the top end speed to be a quick running back, but does have the size to perhaps become a fullback in the NFL. Gary Kubiak is looking to add a fullback to the roster and make him a part of the offense, so perhaps Booker would be an ideal prospect to look at.

The other two prospects Johnson and Lasco are projected to go in the mid to late rounds, so if the Broncos miss out on Booker, the other two men could be ideal candidates to fit in the Broncos offensive plans.
