Denver Broncos Seven-Round Mock Draft 2.0
Seventh Round, 235th Pick: Parker Ehinger
The play of Michael Schofield was unappealing at best. Ty Sambrailo had an injury having him miss the entire season. Depth at the offensive line is a must given how poorly everyone played in the season under Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler. There were games where they played well as a unit, but adding competition in Parker Ehinger, (#78 in photo above) out of Cincinnati will help.
Ehinger is a valuable player to have on the roster like Max Garcia. If Ehinger is not a NFL guard, then he can play multiple positions on the offensive line. Transitioning from the spread to a pro-style offense could be a challenge, but an offensive lineman always love to run block, Ehinger can block, but his narrow base could keep him from not being a starter. The talent is there for Ehinger and would give Broncos a challenge on who to compete for multiple spots.
Right guard, left tackle and right tackle were all the spots Ehinger played while at Cincinnati. Ehinger can be a versatile offensive lineman who can play multiple times for many years. Parker Ehinger is expected to be in the mid to late rounds. Broncos could show interest in his versatility earlier if run on versatile offensive linemen.
