Record: 12-4

I’ve got the Broncos finishing 12-4 in 2016. Obviously the quarterback situation is up in the air, and going into the season with Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian, and a guy like Brian Hoyer/rookie is not great.

Hopefully Elway will be able to bring one of Colin Kaepernick or Ryan Fitzpatrick to Denver. Right now, I see the four losses on the Broncos schedule being against the Colts, at the Bengals (1-2 start), at the Raiders and against the Patriots.

The Broncos could wind up still being better than all these teams, of course. For whatever reason, the Colts have had the Broncos’ number recently. The Bengals have given the Broncos hard fought games the last two seasons and it’s going to be rough for them in Cincinnati like it was in 2014.

The AFC West is going to be perhaps the best division in football next year, and a lot of that has to do with the Raiders looking for the playoffs for once.

I hate to put an L on national television, but I don’t see the Broncos sweeping the division and the Raiders could end up being the toughest divisional test. Mark Sanchez has lost five straight regular season matchups against the Patriots, and if he’s the Broncos starter at that point in the season, Lord help us.
