If Max can run across the middle, make a tough catch, and take a big hit like his old man, the Broncos are going to be just fine with this pick.
Long and athletic, McCaffrey isn’t the highly touted prospect that his younger brother Christian is, but he’s a good football player, has NFL and Bronco bloodlines, and speed to burn.
The WR position for the Broncos seems pretty well set with Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Cody Latimer, Jordan Norwood, Bennie Fowler, and Jordan Taylor, but McCaffrey could come in and compete for a job as well as a spot on the practice squad.
