9. (228th overall) Drew Ott, DE, Iowa

I had to get an Iowa Hawkeyes pick in at some point, and now that Drew Ott is eligible, I think he’d be a really fun pickup. The Broncos might have to bulk him up just a little bit, but they did it with Kenny Anunike and they’d have some time with Ott, who is rehabbing from a torn ACL this past season at Iowa.

The talented edge player is capable both against the run and pass, but developed some really nice pass rush skills in his final season at Iowa before going down with an injury. He is a playmaker who knows how to make himself a permanent resident of the offensive backfield. Great risk/reward pick in the 7th round.
