Denver Broncos mock draft 2.0: Taking a QB early?
6. (144th overall) Tyler Ervin, RB, San Jose State
Plays bigger than his listed size of 5-11 192 pounds, and has incredible ‘see-ya’ speed. His ability to catch the ball and return kicks would provide the Broncos with a dynamic option behind C.J. Anderson. Of course, the comparisons to Ronnie Hillman might come, but this guy plays with a much more physical style that Hillman and he offers upside on special teams.
He has great explosiveness and vision in the open field, making him a dynamic threat in the passing game and on kick returns. He could be a very nice weapon for the Broncos’ offense.
