– Broncos have shown desire to bring back Ronnie Hillman, but with multiple teams interested in his services they are not considered the front runner. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Utah’s Devontae Booker will set a pre-draft visit with the Broncos.

Booker is an intriguing running back and one of my favorite backs in the draft. It is no surprise the Broncos would be interested in the services of Booker whose pro comparison in my estimation is Arian Foster. Foster of course, was Gary Kubiak’s star running back during his time in Houston. Due to injuries, Foster’s production has declined year-by-year spelling the end for him with the Texans.

Foster’s style of running the football parallels Booker. It makes a ton of sense given Kubiak’s history with Foster for the Broncos to set a private visit with him before the draft. Booker’s movement with the ball in his hands and talent to use the jump cut can make players miss often. One of Booker’s underrated attributes is his receiving ability out of the backfield.

However, the Broncos have the 63rd pick in the second round. It is hard to determine whether Booker will be an option when the team picks, but all depends on how the flow of the draft goes. Broncos would be happy if Booker fell into his lap at 63.
