The Denver Broncos enter the 2016 NFL Draft with 10 picks; all of them will address different places of weakened depth due to free agent misses. Broncos hold the last pick in the first round (31st overall), 63rd pick in the second round, two picks in the third (94th and 98th), 136th in fourth round, 144th in fifth round acquired in the Gino Gradkowski trade, compensatory pick (219th) in the sixth round and three picks in the seventh round (228th, 235th and 253rd).

Broncos’ offensive line despite the moves of tackles Russell Okung and Donald Stephenson will be a focus in this years draft. Quarterback will be biggest position the team must answer in the NFL Draft. Trade rumors of Colin Kaepernick to Denver are not dead, but there are quarterbacks the team will draft this year. Filling the voids left by Malik Jackson, Danny Trevathan and David Bruton will also be looked at from the Broncos. It is unclear the players John Elway, Joe Ellis and Gary Kubiak have their eyes set on, but the franchise have many choices in the draft.

Elway has a history the past couple years of drafting the best player available. Bradley Roby and Shane Ray fell to the Broncos 31st and 23rd overall respectively. The Broncos 31st pick in 2014 was lucky. We will see if the Broncos have the same fate this year, since the franchise holds the same first round pick as 2014.
