The Denver Broncos will be selecting ten times in this year’s NFL Draft. With the multiple amount of picks, what will this do to the draft strategy for the Broncos?

Well, John Elway and Gary Kubiak have a lot of draft picks to work with this offseason. Not to mention the various amount of options in regards to trading up, trading down, or just trading overall.

It was announced this morning that the Denver Broncos will have ten picks in the 2016 NFL Draft. The draft picks are as follows…

This also includes the Broncos getting the “Mr. Irrelevant” pick. For those who do not know, that is the final pick in the entire draft. This will be the first time in franchise history that the Broncos will get to select a player with the final pick in the draft.

With ten picks in the draft, the Broncos will look to address all their positional needs. The biggest one is at quarterback. And as Sayre Bedinger reported, the prospect of trading for Colin Kaepernick is most likely not going to happen.

This means that quarterback will most likely be drafted by the Broncos in the NFL Draft. I will admit, I am a bit concerned with the quarterback position. I know Mark Sanchez does have veteran experience. But what if he does not perform or gets hurt? That worries me as a fan.

The other needs that the Broncos are looking for in this year’s draft include offensive line, defensive line, and linebacker. I will even go to say that the Broncos should look at safety in this year’s draft.

With the departure of David Bruton Jr. and Omar Bolden still up in the air, it will be important to have depth at the position. And with Danny Trevathan gone, it makes linebacker a priority too.

There are so many ways that the Broncos can go in the NFL Draft this year. You can throw every scenario out there in front of me and I could come up with a reason why that would make sense. Okay, not every one, but you get the point.

Especially when it comes to the 31st Overall Pick, the Broncos have quite a few paths to take in that regard. I could see them going either quarterback, defense, or offensive lineman. But this is why we have the draft.
