4th Round, 136th Overall: ILB Scooby Wright, Arizona

Explanation: With the recent departure of tackling machine Danny Trevathan, the Broncos should be on the lookout for adding another prospect at the position. Enter, Scooby Wright.  A true junior out of the University of Arizona, Wright enters the NFL with two spectacular underclassmen seasons on his resume.

After winning the coveted Bronko Nagurski award for his stellar play in the 2014 season, Wright was sidelined for all but three games of the 2015 season with a knee injury.

Despite the serious injury and only a hair over two years of college experience, Wright has proven to be a tremendous football player and one that can do everything required at his position to be successful in the NFL. To me, this is a pick similar to Prescott’s in that it combines great value for the pick and helps fill a position of need.  If healthy, Wright is a player that can certainly compete for and possibly win a starting job down the road.
