What is Malik Jackson doing?

Malik Jackson, who reportedly received a five-year deal worth a total of $90 million from the Jacksonville Jaguars in the verbal agreement stage of free agency has not put pen to paper.

Was there a fax machine issue?

Jackson’s signing is not listed among the Jaguars’ many transactions today either…

I’ve scoured the web, and nothing that I can find out there shows that Jackson actually signed a deal with the Jaguars. So, as Lloyd Christmas taught us all, optimism is the best policy here. Perhaps he will do what Dexter Fowler did to the Baltimore Orioles and return to his original team after verbally agreeing to a new contract.

Wouldn’t that be something?…
