Denver Broncos Free Agency Day 1: Good riddance, Brock
Danny Trevathan signs 4-year deal in Chicago
As we reported on earlier here at Predominantly Orange, Danny Trevathan signed a four-year contract to play with the Chicago Bears and old pal John Fox, valued at around $6 million per season. A $12 million guarantee from the Bears was all Trevathan got, while Mark Barron got five years, $45 million from the Los Angeles Rams?
Really?
That’s a steal, but the Broncos were out on Trevathan because they were so deep in on Brock.
Yuck.
You would certainly have loved to have seen Trevathan back, especially at that number. The Broncos have in-house guys like Todd Davis, Corey Nelson, and possibly even Zaire Anderson that could replace Trevathan in the lineup, but at that price, I would have gone after him.
Shame to see him leave.
Next: Malik Jackson gone...probably
