Jordan Norwood
Feb 7, 2016; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Denver Broncos wide receiver Jordan Norwood (11) returns a punt against the Carolina Panthers in the second quarter in Super Bowl 50 at Levi /

#3- Jordan Norwood WR

Norwood has battled countless injuries throughout his career. However, in 2015, he has proven to be quite a solid contribution to the Broncos. This is especially true when it comes to special teams.

We all saw what he accomplished when returning punts. While his average is not all that great, there are two punts that come to mind.

Back in Week 15 against the Steelers, he was able to return a punt for a touchdown. However, the play was called back due to the Broncos offense stepping onto the field too early. However, I am also certain that it would not have counted due to a Steelers player downing the punt.

But his biggest moment came on the biggest stage. Norwood returned a punt in the Super Bowl 61 yards. While it did not result in a touchdown, he now holds the record for longest punt return in Super Bowl history.

I seriously think that Norwood should start training camp as the team’s punt returner. And his play when called upon as a wide receiver wouldn’t hurt either.

For a player that does not require to bring out the big checks, Norwood is one player that I hope the Broncos bring back. I believe he has earned at least another two years with the team.
