Peyton Manning will throw for less than 4,000 yards

This one did prove to be true. However, he did miss six games this year due to a foot injury. For the year, he completed 198 passes out of 331 attempted for 2,249 yards. The passing yards are a career low for Manning, but hey, it did end with a championship.

I have heard quite a bit how the Broncos could be if they had the 2013 offense along with the 2015 defense. That would be something to behold, but when all is said and done, I am just fine with however the Broncos got the job done to capture the Lombardi Trophy.

Does Peyton Manning retire now? That remains to be seen. But from what we have heard from his talk with Bill Belechick and talking to Carolina Panthers’ players to “have a great career,” it could spell the end for The Sheriff.

But what was really important was his postseason numbers. He did a better job at preventing turnovers when you look at it. (2 fumbles, 1 interception in three games)

His 541 yards passing aren’t exactly Star Wars numbers by any means, but when it mattered the most, he did do enough. And as long as a quarterback can do that, it will be a successful day on the field.
