Brockoli Osweiler. What will the Broncos do with him?

Maybe the better question — what will Osweiler do with the Broncos?

In a contract year, Osweiler played a major role in the Broncos’ Super Bowl bid. He started nearly half the games for this team this season, and was quite solid if I must say.

He wasn’t All-Pro, he wasn’t even Pro Bowl — he was just good. Osweiler did what was needed to win football games. He did what was needed to help the Broncos get where they are today, which is the pinnacle of the sport. Should he choose to stick around in 2016 and beyond, the keys will be handed over to him. He was drafted in 2012 with the intent that he would take over for a Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning at some point or another.

Now would be a great time for that to happen.

There are certainly questions surrounding Osweiler for the present and future, but he’s the best option for the Broncos in 2016 and everyone is hoping he stays.
