Andre Caldwell

Caldwell was once a bonus dose of speed for this Broncos team, originally signing on as basically a ‘flier’ player when Peyton Manning came along in 2012. Since then, Caldwell has received an extension, but perhaps more importantly he received the elusive invitation to Peyton Manning’s private workouts at Duke University.

If you don’t know anything about that story, look it up.

Caldwell has been a ‘goat’ of sorts for Broncos fans. There have been plenty of frustrating moments with him as a member of the team, but he has also every now and again made some incredible catches. Perhaps none was more important than his go-ahead touchdown this past season against the New England Patriots in the regular season, when he caught a gorgeous throw from Brock Osweiler in the corner of the end zone.

He caught just 10 passes this season, but two went for touchdowns. He also plays on all the Broncos’ special teams units.
