Denver Broncos: Contract players in the Super Bowl
Omar Bolden
Like the aforementioned David Bruton Jr., Bolden is one of the Broncos’ best special teams players. Whether as a gunner or a return specialist, Bolden makes plays. Coming out of Arizona State in 2012, we all knew he had that ability, but the reason he fell in the draft is the same reason he will likely not get paid a king’s ransom on the open free agent market — knee injuries.
Bolden landed on injured reserve yet again this season after providing the Broncos with some electric plays as a punt returner. They ended up losing the game anyway, but Bolden returned a punt for a touchdown as time expired at the end of the first half against the Indianapolis Colts this year, one of the most exciting plays for the Broncos all season long.
He has yet to record an interception in his NFL career, but snaps at corner or safety are hard to come by with this Broncos defense.
