Owen Daniels

While Emmanuel Sanders and Thomas are solid in the passing game, perhaps the biggest player for Manning in this game will be his tight end. Owen Daniels was a huge factor in the AFC Championship Game early. He only had two catches the entire game, but both went for touchdowns.

For Daniels, he is most likely going to thrive in the red zone. It will not be easy going up against Luke Kuechly in the open field. However, for a player who will be playing in his first Super Bowl, I believe that Daniels will make this trip worth it.

Von Miller

In the last meeting between the Broncos and Panthers, Von Miller recorded a sack in the battle between the top two picks of the 2011 NFL Draft.

I have no doubt that Miller is going to be Newton’s biggest problem in this game. Miller just finds a way to get to the quarterback. And while he may not always get the sack, he is like a mosquito in the backfield when needed. And creates pressure that could force the Carolina quarterback into a mistake.

For a linebacker in his contract year, this would be the opportune game to further prove that he is one of the best in the game. And I have no doubt that he will be able to do that.
