After being questioned in a prostitution sting, Gary Kubiak has made the swift decision to send Broncos Practice Squad member Ryan Murphy home to Denver.

After being questioned on Tuesday evening for an incident involving a prostitution ring, Gary Kubiak made a very quick decision to avoid any further distraction to send Ryan Murphy home to Denver after learning about the incident.

Here is the statement by Kubiak in regards to the decision.

While he was not cited for the incident, it was quite frankly a very boneheaded move to even be involved with something like that with such a huge game in five days. Whether you are a practice squad player or not, this was the last thing to bring to the team.

I give a lot of credit to Kubiak for handling the situation as quickly as possible. He wasted no time sending him home. I am quite impressed with that.

As for Ryan Murphy, I really hope that he learns from this and to not get involved in something like that again.

For those who are not familiar with Ryan Murphy, he was signed to the practice squad in November. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks with the 248th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent time with them on the practice squad before being waived in September.

With this move, I would not be surprised at all if he was released next week. But once again, I give credit to Kubiak for nipping it right away to avoid any further distractions. However, I do fear that this will be talked about after practice on Wednesday.

But knowing Kubiak, he will handle this well and even talk to the team to keep them focused for this game.
