#4- Running Game

While the Panthers defense has been solid in the running game, (fourth in the league in run defense) the Broncos have averaged 104 yards per game on the ground in their two playoff games. C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman have been a huge reason behind the success of that.

The Broncos running game can beat you in so many ways. You need a bruiser to get a good chunk of yards? You need a change of pace back with speed to get to the outside and run? That is what will be coming with both Anderson and Hillman.

If both of them can run the football effectively and get some solid yards, it will be a long day for this Panthers defense.

Another reason why I believe the running game will be key to the Super Bowl for the Broncos is a linebacker they are facing. Thomas Davis will most likely be playing in this game with a surgically repaired forearm. He has recorded 105 tackles for the team during the regular season.

Playing with a broken arm might not be the best bet when it comes to tackling a player. It will almost be like playing with one arm. It will be interesting to see how he does in practice this week, but if Anderson and Hillman run right at him, they might have a chance to shed a tackle or two from him.

I am also a firm believer in having a solid run game at this juncture of the season. While the Panthers have Johnathan Stewart and a handful of others, I like the Broncos chances with these two guys.
