Week 6: at Cleveland Browns

We are at the halfway point of the season. The last opponent the Broncos would have to play before the bye would be the Cleveland Browns. This game proved to be a bit of a struggle until the end of the game.

For this game, I have a good friend in Joyce Fisher to give us her insights of this game.

Favorite Moment:

My favorite moment from that game was the Aqib Talib 63 yard interception return for a touchdown.”

That was a good moment Joyce. As the second quarter was getting started, the Browns were driving, but Talib was not having any of it. Facing a 2nd and 12, Josh McCown threw towards Travis Benjamin, however Talib jumped the route and had no one in front of him as he scored the first touchdown of the game.

MVP of Browns Game:

My MVP for the game against Cleveland would have to be Brandon McManus. His field goal in overtime got us the win. He went 4-for-5 in the game, the miss being a 51 yarder.”

Agreed Joyce. I have to say that Brandon McManus has been one of the unsung heroes of this season. While he has had some misses that were straight up ugly, he has come through when needed. His OT winner in this game was the first game winning kick of his career.

I think this guy has a bright future ahead of him. We will be hearing his name a lot.
