Week 13: at San Diego Chargers

After a thrilling game against the Patriots, the Broncos traveled to play the Chargers for the first time this season. With Osweiler starting his third game of the season, this game would prove to be a defensive effort towards the end. All 20 points scored in the 17-3 win came in the first half.

With this game, I reconnected with Kyle Graff, whom I talked to in Week 13 and got his takes on the game itself.

Favorite Moment:

My favorite moment from the game would have to be the opening drive. The big run by C.J. Anderson and then the catch by Demaryius Thomas for the touchdown. The pick-six by Danny Trevathan was a good moment as well. Plus, anytime we got to Rivers was a good time.”

MVP from Chargers Game:

My MVP has to go to the whole defense. I do not think you can single out just one guy with how impressive the unit itself has been. On offense, it would have to be (for the entire year) Matt Paradis and Emmanuel Sanders. For Paradis, I do not think he had a negative rating all year and for him being a first year starter after spending 2014 on the practice squad. He has definitely filled in some big shoes.”
