Week 10: vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Sadly, the Broncos would be in a mini-funk. The Broncos season would suffer their second loss of the season in a difficult way. A 29-13 beatdown was a low point in the season up to this date. Something was clearly up with Manning. And it was shown that he was injured.

Osweiler came into the game after Kubiak benched Manning. When it comes to finding a positive, that might be a bit difficult in this game, but Leora will look for something.

Positive Takeaway:

Clearly the one shining moment in an otherwise disappointing game was when Manning broke the all time passing yards record. I flew into Denver for that game and my respect for Manning grew after watching how well he carried himself after being benched. I can only imagine how difficult it was for him.”

Agreed Leora. Sad that this loss overshadowed a significant event in his career. I could tell even Manning did not feel like celebrating the event itself. But at least it showed that he should go down as one of the best players to play the game.
