Broncos vs. Patriots: AFC Championship Preview

X-Factors
C.J. Anderson
Remember in Week 12 when Anderson got the pitch from Brock Osweiler and ran it 48 yards for the winning score in overtime? I do as well. And just like in the Patriots game, the Broncos are going to need to focus on the running game to defeat New England.
Anderson has really improved as the season has rolled along. Perhaps he really is a second half schedule guy. But that is good. If you can run the ball effectively in January, then you have a chance to get to the big show in February.
If Anderson can just continue doing what he does best, then he should have a solid game against the rivals from the north east.
Demarcus Ware
I did talk a little bit about Ware earlier in this piece, but it just realized to me that this is the closest that this man has gotten to a Super Bowl. It is his first appearance in a conference title game. And I have no doubt that he will play his heart out to advance.
This man has also become such a strong leader for the Broncos defense this season. Despite the injuries that he has suffered this season, he continues working hard and will do his part in this game.
Look for him to get to Brady as best as he can and cause some pressure on the offensive line.
