The Denver Broncos are set to face the San Diego Chargers in the regular season finale. Take a look and see who will not be in the final game.

Well Broncos fans, this game has heightened stakes. As long as the Broncos win this game, they will win their fifth straight AFC West title and secure their fourth straight first round bye.

Practice went really well for the Broncos this week. Going into this game, only Brandon Marshall and T.J. Ward’s status for this game was in question due to injuries. Everyone else will most likely be active for this game, except if they are healthy scratches.

Coach Gary Kubiak has to make some difficult decisions with the improved health of the team.

And now we will look at the inactive list for the regular season finale against the Chargers.

QB Trevor Siemian

OL Sam Brenner

CB Lorenzo Doss

WR Andre Caldwell

S Omar Bolden

NT Darius Kilgo

OL Robert Myers

So, taking a look at this list, the names are not all that surprising. With Manning active, that means no Trevor Siemian this week. Kubiak, as he has done the first 16 games, will go with two quarterbacks.

With Andre Caldwell officially inactive, this means that Cody Latimer will be active for this game. It’ll be interesting to see how he does in the offense today.

The one player that I am a bit surprised that is inactive is Omar Bolden. He has been battling a hamstring injury and the Broncos figure to give him an extra week of rest.

The names that we were paying attention to when the final injury report came out was the status of Brandon Marshall and T.J. Ward. Both men are active today, but I expect both players to be on a limited snap count with the playoffs around the corner.

Ward did have extended playing time on Monday against the Bengals, so that is most likely what influenced the decision to activate him. Marshall should be limited due to his injury.
