Part of the reason why I don’t want the offseason to come is because I don’t think there will be any way I can justify to myself the Broncos managing to keep all of the insane defensive talent they have. There have been reports that Wolfe is willing to take a little bit of a discount to stay in Denver, and with his injury history and suspension to start this season he certainly should, but it’s going to be really hard to see him go if the Broncos opt for someone else like Malik Jackson.

Wolfe has been incredible this year, even earning AFC defensive player of the week honors for his performance against Green Bay. He recorded yet another sack against the Raiders on Sunday, and has helped the Broncos’ run defense be one of the best they have ever had. They allowed just 1.2 yards per carry to the Raiders and have been stout against the run ever since his return. He’s been phenomenal.
