Still upset about the Denver Broncos’ loss to the Oakland Raiders? Me too, but here are a few things to be optimistic about following the devastating late-season blow.

In one fell swoop, the Denver Broncos lost their second divisional game and dropped from the top seed in the AFC to the third seed with a chance to control their destiny for the 2nd spot with a game remaining against Cincinnati.

The Broncos lost in impressively bad fashion against the Raiders, mainly because of the offense’s ineptitude and inability to score even a single point in the final two quarters of play.

It was a forgettable game for a number of reasons, but there were also reasons to feel pretty solid about this game. After all, I spent the entire first half as relaxed as I have been perhaps all season long. Even in the second half, there were things that happened that we should be excited (at least somewhat) about.

Let’s take a look.
