Conclusion

In my opinion, all four of the areas that I mentioned played a key part in the loss. But if I had to rank them in the order of cause, it would be in this order.

Lack of Running Game

Coaching

Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

Offensive Line

For those who blamed Brock Osweiler for the loss, you might want to re-evaluate that. The man struggled because he was not getting any help from the offensive line. That in turn starts a domino effect. Kubiak should have adjusted to help the offensive line so that they can hold their blocks and run the football. More importantly, keep Osweiler’s jersey clean.

Now that the Broncos have suffered their first loss in the Osweiler era, it is time to adjust and focus. We are moving on to Pittsburgh and this is a huge game for them. The Steelers are red hot and on the outside looking in for the postseason.

Not to mention it is their final home game of the season, so the fans are going to be loud and hope that they can get one final win in front of their fans.

I, myself, will be attending that game, so I will be able to know what a road game is like when we are near the postseason. I imagine Heinz Field will be rocking and the Broncos will need to be prepared.

So, it is back to the chalkboard and to regroup and adjust and get ready for the final road game of the season that could play a huge part in the AFC Playoff Race. Go Broncos!
