The Denver Broncos lost their third game of the season, first under Brock Osweiler, to the Oakland Raiders. What or who is responsible for the latest loss?

As I was watching the game, it just seemed like it was meant to be that the Broncos would take care of business and be in the driver’s seat for home field advantage throughout the AFC Playoffs.

After Kansas City, Pittsburgh, and the New York Jets won, I was not concerned. As long as the team took care of business against a Raiders team that has struggled, but on their way to being a formidable team in the future, it did not matter.

For 30 minutes of the game, the Broncos were flexing their muscles. The defense held the Raiders to a minus-12 in total yards. The offense was moving the football down the field. And while they were not scoring touchdowns, the Broncos defense made sure that they could at least keep the Raiders offense out of it.

But don’t forget. This is a 60 minute game. And Sunday night showed that this was a tale of two halves. It was just a horrendous showing in the second half that allowed the Raiders to mound the comeback and get a huge win for their season.

With the loss, the Broncos dropped to 10-3 and if the season were to end today, the Broncos would get a playoff home game. However, that would be in the Wild Card Round.

For this piece, I will give a few areas of the team and give my take on their performance. If you don’t see something on this list, leave it in the comments below.
