Injury Report

The Denver Broncos are pretty banged up, but we know which players at this moment will not be seeing the field on Sunday. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (foot), inside linebacker Danny Trevathan (concussion), and strong safety T.J. Ward (ankle) will all miss this weekend.

Running back C.J. Anderson is listed as questionable after not participating in practice this week due to an ankle injury. He most likely will be a game time decision. As will Ronnie Hillman as he is listed as questionable.

The biggest name is Demarcus Ware. After missing four games with a back injury, he has been listed as probable. So, we most likely will see him in action for the first time in about a month.

The number of players on the injury list is quite tough to swallow. 22 in all on the injury report. That is almost half of the team. Granted that 12 of the 22 are probable for the game, it is still tough to look at.

Looking at it, it would not be such a bad idea to fight for that first round bye. This is a team that really could use the extra week of rest. But let’s hope that the inactive list brings some promise when the team takes the field.
