Key Matchups:

Broncos LB’s vs. Rob Gronkowski

One of the most dangerous tight ends in the league could do some damage to the Broncos defense. No matter how you try to match up with him, he always finds a way to make it a mismatch.

However, the Buffalo Bills did a good job containing him on Monday Night, holding him to only two receptions for 37 yards. And he was targeted seven times in the game. Whatever Rex Ryan did, he did it well. And Phillips needs to take notes on that.

It would make more sense to see an inside linebacker on him. Perhaps Danny Trevathan would be a good option in this situation. He does a solid job in coverage and did record his first interception of the year. Either way you shape it, Gronkowski will be a huge part in the Patriots offense.

Brock Osweiler vs. Patriots secondary

With the Patriots more likely to force Osweiler to throw in the pocket, it will be key that he executes on his passes. And if he can get a clear window to throw it, he could have a solid day. The Patriots defense ranks 21st in the passing game. Meaning it is not that bad, but not top notch either.

With weapons like Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, and the tight ends to name a few, it should be a good game for Osweiler. He only thing is to not make any mistakes and Osweiler should have a solid game.
