Injury Report:
The biggest story coming from the injury report was Demarcus Ware did work with Luke Richesson, the strength and conditioning coach. According to Gary Kubiak, Ware is farther along than he was last week. However, his status for Sunday is still up in the air.
Other players that did not participate in practice were left guard Evan Mathis and quarterback Peyton Manning. We all knew that Manning would be out as he has a walking cast on and will miss at least the next two weeks. Mathis hurt his knee in Sunday’s win over the Bears.
As it was reported earlier today, DE/OLB Kenny Anunike was placed on injured reserve this afternoon with the signing of Christian Ponder. The reason behind the IR designation was due to a knee injury. Apparently, he could not get up to speed after missing time after knee surgery.
Emmanuel Sanders, who missed last week with an ankle injury, was a full participant in practice today. This is good news as he looks to play on Sunday.
