For the first time since 2011, the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears will be facing off. This is the last NFC team the Broncos will be facing this season. And it is quite a solid game too. Many storylines will be covered this week.
The biggest storyline coming from this game is that for the first time since 2011, Peyton Manning will not be taking the field. As he recovers from shoulder and foot injuries, Brock Osweiler will be starting his first NFL game. It is going to be strange not seeing Manning on the field for the first time in a Broncos uniform.
Of course, the other storyline will be former Broncos players and coaches facing off. After spending four years in Denver, John Fox will be facing off against his former team. He spent only four years in Denver, leading them to four AFC West Championships and an AFC Championship. In his third year, he led the Broncos to the Super Bowl.
He will be joined by former offensive coordinator Adam Gase in this rematch. Former Broncos players Jay Cutler, Eddie Royal, Lamin Barrow, and Mitch Unrein to name a few will face their former team.
What can we look towards for this game? Let us take a look in this week’s game preview.
