The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs square off for the second time this afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. A win for the Denver Broncos would be crucial not only for the race for Home Field Advantage, but give them a significant lead in the AFC West.

Beating the Chiefs would move the Broncos to 3-0 in the West, with two games against the San Diego Chargers and a home meeting with the Oakland Raiders awaiting.

With the game shortly kicking off, it is time for the weekly inactive list for the Denver Broncos. This is where we find out who will sit and who will play for the Broncos this weekend. Here is the inactive list for this weekend.

QB Trevor Siemian

OLB Demarcus Ware

WR Jordan Norwood

TE Richard Gordon

NT Darius Kilgo

OG Shelley Smith

The biggest names to note are the player’s who are active. First round draft pick Shane Ray will be playing in his first game since injuring his MCL in the Cleveland Browns game. This could not be a better time for him to come back with Demarcus Ware out with an injury.

Another name is Emmanuel Sanders. After missing all of practice this week, Sanders was listed as questionable for the game. But it seems that he did enough in pregame drill to play in today’s game. However, do not be surprised if Sanders has limited snaps in the game.

This means the Broncos will rely on Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, and Andre Caldwell. This also could pave the way for Vernon Davis to be a huge player in the passing game.

The Demarcus Ware injury was no surprise as we have known since Friday that he would not play at all according to Gary Kubiak. Jordan Norwood is still nursing his hamstring injury. There was optimism when he practiced, but with Sanders good to go, I am sure that they want to give Norwood one more week.

The remaining members of the inactive list are healthy scratches. The game is set to kick off at 4:25 PM EST/ 2:25 PM MST. Go Broncos!
