Injury Report

For the Denver Broncos, Shane Ray returned to practice on Wednesday. This was a great sign with Demarcus Ware likely out for some time due to back spasms. Ray practiced for the first time since suffering a MCL sprain in the Week Six win over the Cleveland Browns.

Ray also practiced on Thursday, so he is on track to play on Sunday barring any setback. Manning practiced on Thursday after missing on Wednesday due to a foot injury.

Emmanuel Sanders missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday as he nurses an ankle injury. The idea is that he will still suit up, but I assume it might depend on how he does on Friday. Another Manning target in the passing game returned to practice on Thursday.

Owen Daniels has been dealing with shoulder and knee problems after his best game as a Bronco last week. He should be good to go for the team on Sunday.

The injury I am keeping my close eye on is Sanders. If he cannot go, look for Bennie Fowler and Andre Caldwell to step up.

Another name to keep an eye on is right guard Louis Vasquez. He has been limited so far this week with back problems as well. Perhaps one of the best guards in the NFL today, not having him on the field could deal a significant blow.

For the Chiefs, there were not any huge names that popped up that could miss the game. Tamba Hali did not participate on Wednesday, but was a full participant on Thursday. Other than that, the Chiefs are pretty much healthy.
