The Denver Broncos travel to Indianapolis to play the Colts in a rematch of the AFC Divisional Round game last season. The Colts ended the Broncos season with a 24-13 victory at Sports Authority Field.
The Broncos will be looking to extract a little bit of revenge in “The House that Peyton Built.” For Manning, he will be looking to break two all-time records on Sunday as he will look to pass Brett Farve for most passing yards of all time and most wins as a starting quarterback.
For Manning to break those records, he will need some help from his Broncos teammates. However, seven players will not be playing for the Broncos today and we are going to take a look at the game day inactives for the Broncos against the Colts.
WR Jordan Norwood
LB Shane Ray
QB Trevor Siemian
CB Lorenzo Doss
OT Shelley Smith
TE Richard Gordon
DL Darius Kilgo
Jordan Norwood and Shane Ray are no surprise here as Gary Kubiak stated during the Friday media session that both were not going to play. Norwood is dealing with a hamstring injury and did not participate all week.
Shane Ray will still be out for a few more weeks with a MCL sprain. According to initial diagnostics, they said it would be four to six weeks, so he should be seeing at least the practice field within the next week or so.
The remainder of the names on the list are healthy scratches. With the acquisition of Vernon Davis this week, it is no surprise that Richard Gordon would be a healthy scratch.
One name that is not on the inactive list is Ronnie Hillman, who was limited in the last two days of practice during the week with a thigh injury. However, early morning reports suggested that he would play. And Kubiak did note that he would play.

One name that was not on the game day inactive list is a player that will play opposite of the Denver Broncos. It was revealed that Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is active for today’s game. This comes as a surprise seeing as how he missed practice all this week.
I will not speculate here, but something is fishy when it comes to injuries in Indianapolis in recent weeks. This will be something to watch during the game on how he will do against the Broncos secondary.
Kick off is at 4:25 PM EST/2:25 MST. Go Broncos!
