For some reason, I can’t shake my interest in Christian Hackenberg.
Since his freshman season at Penn State, he’s been one of the most heavily scrutinized quarterbacks in the country. Amid all the craziness of what’s been going on at Penn State in recent years, Hackenberg looked like he was getting worse as a player and recently has been steadily improving.
Obviously the size and physical skills are all there for Hackenberg, it’s just been a matter of putting it all together. The offense that he runs at Penn State is horrid for his skills as a player, but I think the Kubiak offense could suit him really well. The way his stock has gone, he could very well be there when the Broncos are on the clock in the first round.
