It’s tradition to start off my first NFL Draft article of the new season with the typical ‘it’s never too early to start talking about the draft’ phrase that so many of you dread.

It’s never too early to start talking about the NFL Draft…

Actually, right now is a really fun time to be talking about the draft, because the cream is sort of rising to the top in college football in terms of the prospects available and this offseason will be really exciting for Broncos fans because the team will be a huge factor in the quarterback market.

Today, as you watch college football all around the country, I want to give you five names to be watching for as players that could be intriguing fits with the Broncos, or at least players that I really wouldn’t mind seeing brought in one way or another. Some might be completely out of John Elway’s reach, but I think this is a pretty wide open year for the QB position because there will be some big names available on the open free agent/trade market as well (Hello, Matthew Stafford, Colin Kaepernick…).
