Denver Broncos Defense Facing True Test
By Adam Malnati
When the Denver Broncos take the field against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, it will bring back a lot of great memories for Broncos Country. Visions of John Elway helicopters, and Steve Atwater forcing fumbles will be dancing in our heads. For lifelong fans, it was the culmination of a lifetime spent living and dying with every play.

Super Bowl XXXII (32 for those of you who don’t know Roman numerals) was 18 years ago, and I will never forget how important it was to my family. You might say it was the best day of my life (but not to my wife and kids). I will never forget the excitement and fear, and ultimately the elation and joy of that victory over Vince Lombardi’s legacy.
Sunday night will bring another matchup between two Hall of Fame bound quarterbacks. One nearing the end of his illustrious football run, and the other still basking in the glory of his prime. Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers may be in very different places in their careers, but any meeting like this deserves our undivided attention.
Von Miller will have a chance to display his Key and Peele sack dance on national TV, and on top of Rodgers.
That being said, no one should ever really care about a matchup between quarterbacks. At no point in the game on Sunday will Rodgers and Manning line up across from each other. What we will get to see is a real test for the Broncos defense.
It has been an unbelievable run for the defense, and they have the potential to go down as one of the best defenses in the history of the NFL. The Packers have one of the best quarterbacks in the game. Von Miller will have a chance to display his Key and Peele sack dance on national TV, and on top of Rodgers. If Denver wants to win, the defense will have to do some heavy lifting.

Chris Harris and Aqib Talib have given the defensive line time all year to get after the quarterback. The offense may find its identity this week, but it won’t matter if the defense loses its own. The quarterback battle is interesting, but this game will be decided by Denver’s Orange Crush.
