New York Jets vs. New England Patriots

Okay folks, this Jets team will get their first big test of the season when they go to Foxboro to play the Patriots. Both teams are in first and second place in the division. A Jets win would force a tie for first in the AFC East, with the Jets leading due to the head to head victory.

The Patriots are one of the two undefeated teams in action this weekend as the Panthers will face the Eagles on Sunday Night Football. And we all know what is surrounding the Patriots. After winning another Super Bowl, the Patriots originally had Tom Brady facing a suspension for his role in deflategate. But a judge overturned the call and Brady was not suspended.

The NFL plans to file for appeal after the season ends, so Brady will get to play as he has led his team to an undefeated start. This will however be their toughest test this season.

The Jets appear to be no joke. Ryan Fitzpatrick has them performing really well through the first few games of the season. And with targets in the passing game in Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, this team could be a solid bunch.

This rivalry was intensified when Rex Ryan was the head coach for the New York Jets. Now with Todd Bowles at the helm, he has helped lead this team to a strong start as well as one of the top defenses in the league.

This game will test the Patriots as well. If the Jets defense can keep Brady at bay, it could be huge win for the Jets. And that Chris Ivory guy has been on fire the last two games. If he can run the rock with efficiency, it could keep Brady on the sidelines.

The Broncos will face the Patriots later on this season, and the Jets could provide a blueprint on how to stop Tom Brady and maybe even Rob Gronkowski. So, this will be one game that I will be keeping my eyes on.
