Sunday, the Broncos try to improve to 5-0 and enforce a complete stranglehold on the AFC West as they face the Oakland Raiders for the first time in the Gary Kubiak era.
Former Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has become the Raiders’ head coach and while Oakland is at 2-2, they bungled the clock badly last Sunday in a devastating 22-20 loss to the Chicago Bears which leaves them disappointed headed into this game.
The Broncos have revamped the offensive line somewhat, with offensive tackle Michael Schofield being implemented into the lineup and the running game seems to be going as well.
If Peyton Manning remembers to make wise decisions with the football, the Broncos’ offense should be able to be effective this afternoon and the defense, which gives up only 17.2 points per game, will likely be a powerhouse once again.
In any event, this game thread is for your use to enjoy the game and hopefully, even in the event that Raiders fans should come over, you will remember to be nice to them so that all may enjoy the game together.
Thanks for your contributions to Predominantly Orange as all of us truly appreciate it. Hopefully we’ll see the Broncos at 5-0 at the time this game ends. All of you are epic, as always, to deal with.
