CJ Anderson – DOWN

Anderson has been a major fantasy bust this year, but you have to feel for the guy. After a Pro Bowl season in 2014, Anderson has seen very few running lanes provided by the Denver offensive line, and it looks as though it’s getting to him.

He was frustrated a couple weeks ago and told fantasy owners to drop him, and right now, many are probably strongly considering it. You can’t even sell Anderson to a RB needy team right now, because it looks like the next guy on the list here is taking the upside.

Last year, Anderson had a breakout game in Oakland, so we’ll see if he can get back on track there this season as well.

Ronnie Hillman – UP

Hillman’s stock is trending WAY up right now for me. It was week 5 against the Cardinals last year when Hillman broke out and got the Denver running game going. He has big play ability, is a better inside runner than you’d think, and he’s provided the Broncos with their most consistent running game dating back to the preseason.

If he keeps it up, he’ll not only supplant CJ Anderson as the starter, but he could see more looks over the course of the season and be the Broncos’ new featured back.
