I’m not trying to spew hot takes in here, but DeMarcus Ware is playing at a defensive MVP level. Whether or not the people who vote on such awards will recognize that remains to be seen, but he’s playing incredibly well.
Ware has unreal quickness off the ball, and had a sack on a really nicely designed blitz up the middle by Wade Phillips. He also brilliantly diagnosed a wide receiver reverse by the Vikings and chased Mike Wallace out of bounds, but not before drawing a facemask penalty on the Vikings receiver.
