2. Brandon McManus, Kicker

Kickers are people too.

Brandon McManus has been sensational this season for the Broncos, just a year after being almost unbearably bad and inaccurate. Last year, it was the offense that had to score in order to save itself from even an attempt at a field goal by McManus. This year, it’s McManus bailing out the offense on some stalled drives.

He nailed three field goals against the Vikings, including the game winning kick before the defense shut down a comeback attempt by the Vikings late.

McManus has not only been excellent on field goals, but he’s been really good on kickoffs as well. It looked like the Broncos were trying to keep the ball in play on a couple of kickoffs on Sunday, but perhaps it was just something they were trying out by having McManus kick it higher instead of further.

This guy has been lights out.
