Hello friends, (as I invoke my inner Jim Nantz) but it’s that time of week again as the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings meet this afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for Week 4.
The Broncos and Vikings have two of the top 5 scoring defenses in the NFL with the Broncos giving up only 16.3 points per game (tied with Arizona for third in the NFL) and Minnesota at 16.7 points per game so points may be hard to come by.
In any event, the Broncos’ #7 rushing defense will try to suppress the Vikings’ #3 (144.3 yards per game) rushing attack, galvanized by the resurgent Adrian Peterson, a likely future Hall-of-Famer.
We’ll see if the Broncos’ offense remains more dynamic, having more in common with the Week 3 game at Detroit than Weeks 1 and 2 against Baltimore and Kansas City, respectively. Plus, it will be nice for the Broncos to be at home for the first time since Week 1 against the Ravens.
Well, the same rules apply for the game thread as always have. Be nice to Vikings fans who happen upon the blog and ensure that nothing but cheering is done, we don’t need to hate on other people who have differing views from our own. This is a special blog so let us ensure we treat it as such.
May the best team win and have fun with this game thread.
